Speaking with One Voice

The Northeast Pool & Spa Association is your voice on legislation and regulations impacting our industry. NESPA GRAC monitors legislative action across the region and represents the pool and spa industry when these important actions are being debated.

NESPA's Government Relations Action Committee (GRAC) brings together dedicated member volunteers and lobbyists on behalf of our members to oppose onerous over-regulation and advocate for our industry. We have important relationships with Federal, State and local officials and are in regular contact to share our industry’s perspective on legislation.

The Government Relations Action Committee consists of representatives from each of our four chapters.  If you have questions about legislation and government regulations contact NESPA at 609-689-9111.

Get Your Team Certified...Online!

NESPA is now offering a convenient new way for your staff to achieve their Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (formerly APSP) certification – online!  The courses include the Certified Pool & Spa Service TechnicianCertified Pool & Spa Maintenance Specialist and the Pool & Spa Construction Course which prepares students to take become a Certified Pool & Spa Building Professional.

These online courses give you the flexibility to determine when and where you’d like your staff to take a course.  Courses can be taken at nights or weekends, when heavy rain is stopping you from working in the field or simply when a few hours of time pop up on your staff’s schedule.

Online learning puts you in charge of your team’s training schedule. You can require staff to log into the courses at your office or at their homes.  Rather than blocking out a full week out of the office, you can create the training timeline that works for your business.

What’s exciting about this program is that you’ll get the convenience of online training with the extraordinary customer service and industry expertise you’ve come to expect from a NESPA training course.  As more students enroll in the program, NESPA will be offering additional ways to review course materials and prepare students to successfully pass the certification exams.

You can find out more about these online courses on the NESPA website – here and you can reach out to our staff with any questions you might have on how to use these online programs in 2019 training plan.
