Speaking with One Voice

The Northeast Pool & Spa Association is your voice on legislation and regulations impacting our industry. NESPA GRAC monitors legislative action across the region and represents the pool and spa industry when these important actions are being debated.

 


 

 

NESPA's Government Relations Action Committee (GRAC) brings together dedicated member volunteers and lobbyists on behalf of our members to oppose onerous over-regulation and advocate for our industry. We have important relationships with Federal, State and local officials and are in regular contact to share our industry’s perspective on legislation. 

The Government Relations Action Committee consists of representatives from each of our four chapters.  If you have questions about legislation and government regulations contact NESPA at 609-689-9111.

President's Message

I know we are all looking forward to ringing in a new year in a few days.  Closing the book on 2020 will feel great, and making plans for the upcoming year has me feeling optimistic about what's to come.

Santa has come a little early this year and has delivered a whole new way for us to EXPERIENCE the Pool & Spa Show.  There are more details about the Show in this month's newsletter, and I encourage everyone to go to the Show website to get up to speed and all the features offered as part of the EXPERIENCE this year.

What I'm most excited about at the Pool & Spa Show Experience is that this event will break the mold for virtual events by creating new real-time ways to engage with each other. The Experience includes live-streamed training featuring hands-on demos, real-time conversations with industry leaders, and don't forget the fun!  The show Experience will have a work hard, play hard mindset, which is what we need after 2020!  

NESPA is thinking outside the box to create an experience & companies should too.  Consider new ways to get staff energized & involved.  Think differently about this year's Show Experience.  With no travel costs, now is the time to include even more employees and give them the chance to show you what they can do with this new opportunity. 

Take advantage of all the fun and entertaining events offered by the Experience to create team-building experiences that will get your company ready for the upcoming season.

With the year-end approaching, I hope you have the chance to enjoy time with those closest to you.  I wish you a wonderful holiday season and a prosperous 2021!
