Congratulations! NESPA Leaders Honored

Recently, the Pool & Hot Tub Alliance announced the winners of their 2020 awards program.  Including in the honorees were several NESPA Members:  Julie Kazdin, Larry Biscornet, and Bob Baron.

Julie Kazdin was selected as PHTA's Young Professional of the Year.  Julie is vice-president of, Kazdin Pools and Spas and a 2nd generation pool professional. In addition to being an active member of the PHTA Service Council, she serves as NESPA's treasurer and chair of our Education Super Committee.

Two members of the NESPA family who we've recently lost were honored for the lifetime of work for our industry.  The CBP Lifetime Achievement Award is peer-nominated and awarded posthumously to a CBP who has advanced the pool building profession through outstanding achievements and dedication to the industry.

Larry Biscornet, LBI Pools, received the 2020 CBP Lifetime Achievement Award.  A well-known industry leader, Larry served in many PHTA positions during his 50+ year career. President of APSP & NESPA, he was a founding member of APSP's Service Council. He spent a lifetime working to advance the pool building profession.

Bob Baron, Baron Pool Service, also received the 2020 CBP Lifetime Achievement Award. An extremely involved member of PHTA and former president of NESPA, Bob worked in the industry for nearly 60 years.

Bob, Larry, and Julie exemplify the passion and commitment NESPA leaders have for our industry.  We couldn't be more proud to have them represent our region at the national level.
