The pool and spa industry has always been a complex business, but today, keeping up with technological change and innovation can be positively challenging. A prime example is the Metro Chapter’s recent dinner meeting on measuring pools on August 13th. Wayne Fisher, Fisherlea Systems, West Montrose, Ontario, Canada, showed a phone app that he created for measuring pool liners and pool covers called Pool Measure Pro. The app is available for free download at the app store on your phone.
    
Many pool professionals who measure for replacement pool liners and covers use the traditional A-B triangulation method. Pool Measure Pro is set up to use the A-B method as well, but in addition it helps the user catch common issues and oversights.
