Getting the opportunity to be part of the live events at the Pool & Spa Show EXPERIENCE this year is something I’ll never forget. We have all gotten used to being in Atlantic City in January, and it was nice to bring a little of that same experience to everyone around the region.
Leading up to this year’s Show, NESPA leaders and staff focused on creating a new way for our industry to connect. Beyond the essentials of getting training out to the industry and making sure professionals got the CEUs they needed, we knew there needed to be a real way for us to come together, even if it was through an online platform.
While it wasn’t what we were used to, it was amazing to see so many friends and colleagues join us and embrace the new Show EXPERIENCE. I loved being able to talk directly to you as a part of the live-stream and chat through the platform. We were able to share ideas over coffee and share laughs at the Welcome Party.
What was awesome for my team was the two-week (extended to four-weeks!) access to the on-demand library of dozens of courses. We could attend so many more classes with our all-access passes and didn’t have to pick and choose. Pausing and rewinding helped us hit home some of the most important lessons.
I need to thank our industry partners for stepping up and supporting this event. From the start, they knew how much the industry needed this and were ready to help out. I’m incredibly thankful for our Platinum Partners – Bel-Aqua, Hayward, Loop-Loc, and Pentair. I’d also like to recognize our event partners Vista Convention Services, PSAV, and Meet AC. They understood our vision and worked with us to bring it to life.
I know we will take the lessons we learned at this year’s Show to create an even better in-person event next year. I can’t wait to see everyone in Atlantic City in 2022.
