Crowded restaurants, cultural events, public transit, bars, dense social gatherings—the things that draw some people to city living may now be driving them into the suburbs and into rural areas to escape the impact of the pandemic, according to The New York Times.

Encourage your customers to keep the pool open well into the fall season this year because 2020 is unlike any year any of us have ever experienced. Typically, around Labor Day, the pool professional gets those calls to close the pool for the season because the kids are going back to school and, frankly, there is less call for backyard activities. 

As we now move into July, we must build on the lessons learned over the last few months and continue to apply all of the “best practices” that have been developed since the start of  the start of the COVID crisis in March.  The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) continues to provide guidance on how we can keep our employees and customers safe in the months ahead.
