Volunteer Opportunities with NESPA

Thinking of volunteering with NESPA? There is a volunteer position for every interest! 

By volunteering just a few hours of your time, you can help make a difference in areas of NESPA and the pool and spa industry as a whole.


 

 

 

We have Volunteer Opportunities in
many areas, including:

Education and Training: Suggest new programs/classes, utilize your specialty to train others, evaluate educational programs, and more.

Communications/Marketing/PR: Be an integral part in developing, executing and evaluating all of NESPA’s communications activities

Member Programs and Services: Evaluate current member programs, seek out new program opportunities for members of NESPA, and more.

Government Relations, Advocacy and Finance: Protect the industry from over-burdensome regulations, grow and strengthen NESPA's influence and relevance within the industry, and more. 

Outstanding Achievement Awards: Bring new ideas to the Awards each year, become a judge, and more.

Represent NESPA's interest at PHTA level: Be a NESPA representative at PHTA; opportunities to serve at the national level on national issues 

Volunteer Recruitment: Assist in the recruiting of NESPA volunteers, participate in networking events, and more.

Volunteer Opportunities include:

Serving on a Task Force or Committee:

*Based on your interests and skill set
*Be able to suggest improvements, bring new ideas to the table and to better the pool and spa industry
*Committees and Task Forces meet as frequently as once a month, or once or twice total- you select what works best for you

Volunteering at The Pool and Spa Show:

*Once a year at the Annual Pool & Spa Show
*Judges for "Best Booth" Competition
*Proctors for the Education Conference
*The Wall- volunteer to assist with the demonstrations at The Pool & Spa Show's interactive learning experience
*Ambassadors- Representatives from NESPA to greet show attendees both at The Show and at The Welcome Party

Volunteering at your local Chapter level: 

Is volunteering for your Chapter more in line with your interests?  There are plenty of opportunities at your Chapter as well! NESPA would be happy to pass along your interest to your Chapter Administrator.
